Zoro ha sido calificada como la obra infantil más poética de los últimos años en el país. En ella se unen la realidad y la fantasía alrededor de un niño de la selva, Zoro, quien en compañía de un anciano negro busca su pueblo. En este viaje, lleno de aventuras, encuentra a un tigre de cristal que canta, a unos gigantes con piel de vidrio, pasa por un bosque de animales, se hace amigo de una águila de hielo y de dos viajeros del Sol, hasta que, gracias a su esfuerzo, llega al lugar de destino. Este relato es un canto a la imaginación y llena un vacío en la producción de obras de gran calidad para la infancia. Zoro obtuvo el I Premio Nacional de Literatura Infantil Enka, en 1977. |
